Africa Regional Workshop

Faith for Our Planet hosted its third workshop on December 8, 2022, in Banjul, Gambia. This first-of-its-kind gathering convened influential delegates from over eight African countries- representing around a dozen Gambian tribes- including two Members of the National Assembly and some of the most prominent religious leaders and broadcasters, at the Coco Ocean Resort and Spa Hotel, Banjul. This workshop aimed to address the existing gaps in Gambia’s climate action policies and how and why religious leaders need to play their part as agents of faith-based climate action in the country.
